Uneven skin texture, large pores, fine lines, or acne scars are reasons why many people want an effective but non-invasive solution. Dermapen® treatment is a proven method for this. The Dermapen® device works with fine, vertically oscillating needles that create micro-fine channels in the skin. This activates cell regeneration, stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin, and significantly improves the absorption of specially selected active ingredients. After several applications, the skin appears smoother, firmer, and more even overall. The treatment is suitable for the face, neck, décolleté, and other areas of the body with uneven texture or scar tissue.

What changes does the treatment bring about?
The micro-fine stimulation of the skin triggers a natural regeneration process. This leads to the formation of new skin cells and strengthens the connective tissue. The complexion is refined, fine lines are reduced, pigmentation irregularities can be evened out, and scars can be smoothed. The first effects are usually visible after a few days. The full effect develops over several weeks. Two to four sessions at intervals of four to six weeks are considered ideal. Repeated refreshers are recommended to ensure lasting results.

Preparing for treatment
A comprehensive consultation takes place before the first appointment. Skin condition, treatment goals, and any special considerations are discussed together. In the days leading up to the treatment, you should avoid intense sun exposure, exfoliants, active ingredients, alcohol, and blood-thinning medications.
Treatment procedure
The skin is cleansed and an anesthetic cream is applied. The specialist then systematically guides the Dermapen® device over the areas to be treated. The treatment takes around 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the size and region. Depending on the skin's reaction, soothing serums or special masks are applied afterwards.
Right after treatment
After application, the skin may be reddened and slightly swollen. A feeling of tightness similar to a mild sunburn is possible. These reactions usually subside within one to three days. During this time, you should avoid makeup, sun exposure, heat, and physical activity.
Care after treatment
The skin should be soothed and moisturized with mild, non-irritating care products. Exfoliants and active ingredients such as retinol should be avoided for at least one week. High sun protection (at least SPF 50) is essential in the following weeks. The recommended home care supports the effect and accelerates regeneration.

Thanks to the numbing cream, most patients find the treatment very tolerable. A slight tingling or tightness may occur, especially in sensitive areas.
The skin often looks fresher and smoother after just a few days. The results develop gradually, with visible improvements from the second week onwards.
Depending on the condition of your skin and the treatment goal, two to four sessions are recommended. There should be an interval of four to six weeks between treatments.
The effect can last for several months. Regular touch-ups help to stabilize the result.
Slight redness, tightness, or flaking of the skin are possible. In rare cases, localized bruising may occur. With appropriate aftercare, the treatment is very well tolerated.
The method is suitable for all skin types and is particularly recommended for coarse skin texture, enlarged pores, acne scars, or slight wrinkles. In the case of active inflammation or skin diseases, a consultation should be sought beforehand.
