These changes are caused by the breakdown of collagen and elastin, which are responsible for the skin’s firmness and elasticity. The HarmonyCa™ filler treatment combines the immediate volume-plumping effect of hyaluronic acid with the long-term benefits of calcium hydroxylapatite, which stimulates the body’s own collagen production. While hyaluronic acid immediately moisturizes the skin and builds volume, calcium hydroxylapatite provides lasting firming and improvement of the skin structure. The HarmonyCa™ filler treatment is suitable for a variety of facial areas and enables individually tailored skin rejuvenation.
Over the years, the middle and lower parts of the face in particular often experience a loss of volume, decreased elasticity, and less defined contours. These changes can be counteracted with targeted injections, restoring freshness and expression to the face—without surgery and without an artificial effect. What to expect...
Preparation for treatment
Before the treatment, a detailed consultation will take place during which your skin will be analyzed and the treatment will be tailored to your individual needs. It is recommended that you refrain from alcohol and nicotine for a few days before the treatment. Blood-thinning medication should only be paused after consulting your doctor in order to minimize the risk of minor bruising.
Treatment procedure
After cleansing and disinfecting the skin, HarmonyCa™ fillers are injected into the desired areas using fine needles. The treatment takes around 20 to 30 minutes and is considered by most patients to be virtually painless. An anesthetic cream can be applied on request to make the treatment more comfortable.
Right after treatment
After treatment, slight redness, swelling, or small bruises may occur, but these usually subside within a few hours or days. The skin may initially feel a little tight, which is completely normal. You should avoid wearing makeup, intense sun exposure, and saunas for the first 24 hours.
Care after treatment
After treatment, the skin should be treated with particular care. Use mild cleansing products and moisturizing creams to provide the skin with optimal support. Direct sunlight and visits to the solarium should be avoided. For long-term results, 2 to 3 treatments at 4-week intervals are recommended, followed by refresher treatments every 6 to 12 months.
