Preparing for treatment

Before treatment, we conduct a personal consultation during which we analyze your skin and tailor the treatment to your individual needs. To minimize the risk of minor bruising, you should refrain from alcohol and nicotine for a few days beforehand. If you are taking blood-thinning medication, please discuss this with the doctor in advance.

Treatment procedure

After cleansing and disinfecting the skin, Karisma Softfiller is injected into the middle layer of the skin using fine needles. The treatment takes around 15 to 20 minutes and is barely noticeable for most patients. If desired, an anesthetic cream can be applied before the treatment to further reduce any discomfort.

Right after treatment

After treatment, slight redness, swelling, or small bruises may occur. These usually subside on their own within a few hours or days. The skin may feel slightly tight in the first few hours, which indicates that the regeneration process has begun. You should refrain from wearing makeup, intense sun exposure, and physical exertion for the first 24 hours.

Care after treatment

In the first few days after treatment, the skin should be cared for particularly gently. Use mild cleansing products and moisturizing creams to support the healing process. Direct sunlight and solarium visits should be avoided. For long-lasting results, two treatments at 30-day intervals are generally recommended, followed by refresher treatments every 4 to 6 months.
