Schedule appointmentStretched or torn ear piercings can not only make it difficult to wear jewelry, but also permanently alter the appearance of the earlobe. Ear piercing correction is a minor but effective procedure to restore the shape and structure of the earlobe—gentle, outpatient, and with natural results.gebnis.
Dr. Rosalia LuketinaAn enlarged or unevenly healed ear piercing can have various causes: heavy earrings, trauma, stretching due to tunnels, or age-related skin changes. Ear piercing correction is a surgical procedure in which the defective tissue is removed and the earlobe is reshaped and sutured back to its natural form. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia and takes about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the findings. The aim is to achieve a fine, inconspicuous scar and a harmonious, symmetrical appearance. If desired, a new ear piercing can be made after healing.
Ear lobe correction leads to visual and functional restoration of the earlobe. The tissue is tightened, smoothed, and stabilized so that earrings can be worn again. The scar is usually fine and barely visible after healing. The healing process is straightforward: swelling subsides after a few days, and the stitches are usually removed after 7 to 14 days. The final result can be assessed after approximately four to six weeks. In many cases, only a single treatment is necessary.
Before the procedure, a personal consultation will take place, including an examination of the earlobes. During this consultation, the treatment steps, any preliminary treatments, and the individual findings will be discussed. Blood-thinning medications, alcohol, and nicotine should be avoided for several days prior to the procedure.
After disinfection and local anesthesia, the affected tissue is surgically removed. The earlobe is then reshaped using fine, tension-free skin sutures. The procedure takes about 30 minutes per side.
The treated area is covered with a small plaster. Swelling or a slight feeling of tension are normal and will subside within a few days. Sleeping on your side, intense sun exposure, or pressure should be avoided for the time being.
The suture should be kept dry for the first few days and checked regularly. The stitches are removed after 7 to 14 days. Consistent UV protection is recommended in the following weeks to support inconspicuous scar healing. Ear piercings may be redone after three months at the earlies

Ear piercing correction is useful for stretched, torn, or severely stretched ear piercings—often caused by wearing heavy jewelry, accidents, or tunnel stretching. The aim is to surgically restore the natural shape and function of the earlobe.
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia. The damaged tissue is removed, the earlobe is reconstructed in its natural shape, and closed with fine sutures. The treatment takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the side.
After the procedure, slight swelling or tightness is to be expected. The stitches are removed after 7 to 14 days. The final result is visible after about 4 to 6 weeks, depending on skin type and aftercare.
As a rule, only a fine, barely visible scar remains. Consistent UV protection, scar care, and good wound healing can further improve the cosmetic result.
After 12 weeks at the earliest, depending on individual healing. We recommend having the new ear piercing done under medical supervision to achieve the best aesthetic result.
Slight swelling, redness, or small bruises are normal and usually subside within a few days. Infections or wound healing disorders are rare and can be treated effectively.
The correction is suitable for anyone who suffers from changes in their ear holes. Alternatively, minimally invasive tissue tightening can also be considered for minor changes. We will be happy to advise you individually.
