The process of placing Silhouette InstaLift threads

During the procedure, the doctor inserts the threads under the skin using a fine needle. The threads are then gently pulled to achieve the desired tightening and secured in place.

Adjusting and anchoring the threads

Once the Silhouette InstaLift threads are in place, Dr. Rosalia Luketina carefully adjusts them to achieve the desired lifting effect. The threads are then anchored in the deeper tissue layers, providing support and stability. As the threads are made of biodegradable material, they dissolve over time, stimulating collagen production and further improving the skin structure.

Completion of the procedure

The entire Ponytail Lift usually takes between 45 minutes and an hour. Once the desired tightening has been achieved, the doctor cuts off the excess threads and closes the tiny entry points with sterile adhesive strips or small sutures. The treatment area may be wrapped with a light compression bandage to minimize swelling and support the newly tightened tissue.

Care and recovery after the procedure

After a ponytail lift, patients can generally resume their daily activities within a few days. Mild bruising, swelling, and tenderness are to be expected but should subside within one to two weeks. Patients are advised to avoid strenuous activities, heavy lifting, and excessive facial movements for at least two weeks to ensure proper healing.
