Over the years, the skin’s elasticity decreases and the first signs of change become visible, such as fine lines, less defined contours, and a loss of firmness. Profhilo is a new type of treatment with highly pure hyaluronic acid that differs significantly from classic fillers. While fillers specifically build volume, Profhilo improves the skin’s structure, promotes the body’s own production of collagen and elastin, and thus ensures natural firming. Thanks to innovative hybrid technology, two forms of hyaluronic acid are combined: one that intensively moisturizes the skin and a second that firms and tightens the tissue. The result is smooth, fresh skin—without any unnatural-looking effects. The treatment is versatile and suitable for the face, neck, décolleté, and areas of the body such as the upper arms or abdomen, where the skin loses firmness.
What changes does the treatment bring about?
After the Profhilo treatment, the skin feels noticeably firmer and smoother. Intensive hydration increases its elasticity, fine lines are reduced, and the overall appearance of the skin is fresher. The special composition of Profhilo helps the skin to regenerate itself and regain its elasticity. Visible results are apparent after just a few days and continue to improve over the following weeks. Regular refresher treatments are recommended for long-term results.

The various areas of application for Profhilo
Profhilo offers a wide range of applications that can be individually tailored to the condition of the skin and the treatment goal:
- Profhilo Classic: For general improvement of the skin structure on the face. The skin is hydrated, fine lines are reduced, and the complexion appears smoother and fresher.
- Profhilo Structura: Specially developed to slow down the natural aging process on the face. This variant targets the fatty tissue and helps to define the contours and strengthen the skin structure.
- Profhilo Body: Ideal for areas of the body such as the hands, upper arms, stomach, thighs, and knees. The skin is firmed, cellulite is reduced, and elasticity is visibly improved.

Preparing for treatment
Before treatment, a detailed consultation will take place during which your skin will be analyzed and the appropriate treatment option selected. It is recommended that you refrain from alcohol and nicotine for a few days prior to treatment. Blood-thinning medications should only be paused after consulting with your doctor in order to minimize the risk of minor bruising.
Treatment process
After cleansing the skin, hyaluronic acid is injected into specific points using fine needles. The treatment takes around 20 to 30 minutes and is generally well tolerated. Most patients only experience a slight pulling or pressure sensation. If desired, an anesthetic cream can be applied beforehand to further reduce any discomfort.
Immediately after treatment
After treatment, slight redness, swelling, or small bruises may occur, but these usually subside within a few hours or days. The skin may feel a little tight at first—this is normal and will quickly subside. It is recommended that you refrain from wearing makeup, going to the sauna, and exposing yourself to intense sunlight for the first 24 hours.
Care after treatment
In the first few days after treatment, the skin should be treated with particular care. Mild cleansing products and moisturizing care support the healing process. Direct sunlight and solariums should be avoided so as not to put additional strain on the skin. For long-lasting beautiful results, 2 to 3 treatments at intervals of 4 weeks are recommended, depending on the condition of the skin, followed by refresher treatments every 6 months.

The Profhilo treatment is suitable for all skin types that suffer from moisture loss, fine lines, or reduced elasticity. However, the treatment should be postponed in cases of active skin infections or certain skin diseases.
