Preparing for treatment
Before treatment, you will have a personal consultation during which your skin will be analyzed in detail. You should avoid alcohol and nicotine for a few days before treatment, as these can make your skin more sensitive. Blood-thinning medication should only be paused in consultation with your doctor to avoid minor bruising.
Treatment process
After cleansing the skin, hyaluronic acid is injected into the middle layers of the skin using fine needles. The treatment takes around 20 to 30 minutes and is generally well tolerated. If desired, an anesthetic cream can be applied beforehand to soothe the skin.
Immediately after treatment
Slight redness, swelling, or small bruises may occur, but these usually subside within a few hours or days. The skin may feel slightly tight immediately after treatment, which is completely normal. Avoid makeup, intense sun exposure, and saunas for the first 24 hours.
Care after treatment
In the first few days after treatment, the skin should be cared for particularly gently. Use mild cleansing products and moisturizing creams to support the skin. Direct sunlight and solarium visits should be avoided. For optimal results, 2 to 3 treatments at intervals of 4 weeks are recommended, depending on the condition of the skin, with refreshments every 6 months.
